Our programme aims to help you gain future ready and basic leadership skills.
With the aim to prepare the future talents of Swiss Re, in this intensive 18 months long learning experience you will rotate through 3 departments.
Each member of the Graduate Programme will be assigned individual mentors, experience trainings, feedback sessions and hands on learning that will help develop the leader inside you and build your future ready skills. Apart from leadership & future ready skills, you will also be able to gain knowledge of the re/insurance world.
During your journey you will rotate through 3 out of the following 6 departments:
Asset Management
In Asset Management we take care of the assets generated in our business. Their worth is billions USD. In this rotation you will get an insight into how we process our global investment transactions.
Business Services
In Business Services you will be involved in closing the reinsurance deals with our external clients, which are insurance companies and brokers from many different parts of world. Experience the administration of this end-to-end negotiation process.
Finance
When it comes to numbers and their reasoning, we are the business advisors for our Swiss Re colleagues globally. You will join one of our accounting or reporting teams and get insight into company's business from the finance perspective.
Technical Accounting
Technical Accounting is at the core of reinsurance business. Your main goal will be to learn about how we work with our clients to collect premiums and pay reinsurance losses on time.
CorSo
Corporate Solutions is the commercial insurance arm of the Swiss Re Group. We aim to address the ever-increasing risk and complexity with innovative solutions that help our customers navigate uncertainty. We are here to protect and grow our customers' business by rethinking insurance through combining risk expertise and customer understanding.
iptiQ
iptiQ is a start-up like unit which provides innovative protection solutions directly to consumers. Our mission is to reduce the protection gap by simplifying life insurance and making it more accessible to people. For us this means making life insurance easier to sell, to buy and to trust for everyone.
About you:
- You have finished or will finish a bachelor, master or PhD degree between summer 2021 and summer 2022.
- You are able to start working full time from 1st September 2022.
- You like analytical work and generally enjoy working with numbers.
- You are familiar with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- You are fluent in English language, any other language is a plus.
- You bring strong communication skills.
- You are collaborative and people oriented.
- You have the passion and ambition to become a leader one day.
- You are interested in the (re)insurance world.

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1200 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
